Sundance Institute backs 5 new doc projects from or about Asia

The Sundance Institute has bestowed US$490,000 in grants to 27 feature-length documentary projects, including 5 projects from or about Asia. The grants, made via the Institute’s Documentary Film Program and Fund (DFP), come as the DFP celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
