Zeitgeist acquires Canada/China doc “China Heavyweight”

Zeitgeist Films has acquired US rights to Yung Chang’s “China Heavyweight,” the documentary that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. BBC Worldwide partners with CCTV’s Documentary Channel

During MIPCOM, BBC Worldwide and CCTV-9 have announced that they inked a co-production deal for the new science series “Generation Earth” and “Wonders of Life”. Venezuela’s Cisneros Group and Chinese state broadcaster CCTV ink doc alliance
