Docaviv 2012: “Planet of Snail” wins the International competition

On 9 May 2012, the winners of the Docaviv 2012 Film Festival competitions were announced at the Port of Tel Aviv. The Best International Film award was given to the Korean film “Planet of Snail”. NHK and BBC join Insefilm Prod. on “Beyond the Wave”

  NHK in Japan, the BBC in the UK, IKON in the Netherlands and WDR Cologne in Germany have joined Berlin-based Inselfilm Production as coproducers of ”Beyond the Wave”. Two Asian docs selected in this year’s Berlin Panorama Dokumente

The 62nd Berlin International Film Festival (9-19 Feb) has completed its Panorama selection. This year’s Berlin Panorama is presenting 53 feature films: 18 in the main programme, 15 in Panorama Special and 20 in Panorama Dokumente. 34 productions from 33 countries are screening as world premieres.
