A doc screening in HK for our 500th member !

This week, Europe Asia Documentary network has reached 500 members !

Our 500th friend is from Pakistan. Thanks to all of yours !

Less than one year after its creation in June 2010, Europe Asia Documentary network reached 500 friends. That was our first target and we are more than happy to reach it so quickly.

EADn members come from Asia/Pacific (49,6%), Europe (44,2%), America and MEA.

They are producers (50%), producers and directors (3% ), directors (13%), distributors (5%) and institutions or festival organizers (15%).

6 countries are the most represented :
. China
. Australia
. France
. UK
. india
. and netherlands.

Now, its time for cooperation, common projects, cofinancing and coproduction, better distribution and circulation of our content.

To encourage such a cooperation, we will soon launch our online cooperation platform and initiate special screening and  workshops.

The first EADn event : an Asian premiere for “Burma Soldier”

. The first EADn screening will happen in Hong Kong, during Filmart, on thursday 24th March (7.30 – 9.30 pm) with the screening of “Burma Soldier”, a coproduction between Ireland, Singapore and  USA. Thanks to Filmart / HKTDC, Julie Le Brocquy and Catherine Leclef  !

This screening is open to Filmart delegates. If you are not attending Filmart and you want to attend our screening, you can send a mail to eadn@sinapsesasia.com

. The first 2 workshops will be organized in Europe and mainland China.
